Tobago now boasts two world class championship courses, Tobago Plantations Golf & Country Club, which is an 18-hole championship standard Plantation course with its sister 9, hole Sugar Mill course. This course is just over 7000 yards, has a flat terrain that is sensitively modified to utilize indigenous plants and increase the habitat diversity of wildlife. Artificial lakes and wetlands have been created and developed to regenerate nature, which is fast becoming a home and breeding ground for migratory ducks and birds. The second is the Mount Irvine Bay Hotel and Golf Club offers a World-Class golf course in a natural island setting. Built on land, which rises in natural terraces from the sea, the course covers 127 acres and is 6793 yards long. Immaculate green, wide open fairways and breathtaking views of the sparkling Caribbean Sea.
